Those who wish to submit their contributions to a special issue of the
JSME International Journal, Series B, are required to hand-carry their
manuscripts to the symposium registration desk. The items to be submitted
are

three copies of the printout, |
| 2) |
electrical form of the manuscript (TeX or MS Word) in a floppy disk or
CD-R, |
| 3) |
cover letter. |

| The manuscript should be prepared in the same format as the extended abstract.
The page limit is six pages for the regular paper. It may be extended to
eight pages upon the special request to be described in the cover letter.
The manuscript more than eight pages will be rejected. The second item
(TeX or MS Word file) may be sent to the symposium secretariat by email
in advance. |
The cover letter should include

the paper number for AFI/TFI-2004 (given in the email reply from the symposium) |
| 2) |
contact information of the corresponding author (affiliation, mailing address, email, phone and fax numbers) |
| 3) |
electrical form (floppy, CD, or email; TeX or MS Word) |
| 4) |
reasons for requesting extra page length if applicable |
