Aim of Workshop and Background

The Workshop will meet again in the beautiful resort town of Nobeyama in April, 2003. This Workshop will focus on predicting the next one hundred years of development of Fluid Dynamics, accounting for the current status and future trends of high performance computation and communication.

The previous Workshops are known for the informal and concentrated atmosphere of in-depth discussion thanks to all the efforts of Prof. Kunio Kuwahara at ISAS. In celebration of his 60th birthday, this is our turn to show our appreciation to Prof. Kuwahara. Therefore, we propose that all the participants will share the conference budget this time to invite Prof. and Mrs. Kuwahara to Nobeyama.

The Workshop will be held at Yatsugatake Kogen Lodge in Nobeyama. Transportation from Tokyo will be provided to the participants on April 21. Participation will be based on invitation only.
