Hello This is Mickey.

An event which today I would like to report is the Laputa developing experiment in Tobishima.
Many volunteers took part in the event because the Laputa Project is quite big. Maruyama Prof, Dr. Yabuki, Okajima-san, Felipe, Shoji, Deguchi, and Takahashi from Maru-Komi lab. In addition Yamanaka-san from Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Ichikawa-san from Tokyo Rope MFG. Co. Moreover Kato-san, Watabe-san, and Nakamura-san from Scuba Company Dolphin

First I briefly introduce about Tobishima. Tobishima is located 80 minutes by ferry from Sakata City in Yamagata pref. It is diving spots because of its high underwater visibility. It means OCEAN is CLEAR!!!!!!!!!
Some think "Why the experiment was held in Tobishima". Because it is necessary to make a film of developing pipe.



I would like to report the experimental result.


The result is...

We could not have done experiment because of ocean condition even though many students　and some companies helped to prepare the experiment spending much time... Of course, we did prepare for the experiment even though we did not do experiment. We checked an order to do experiment and explained detail of the experiment to divers who will make a film. The Azuma-So, which is our guest house, gave us much delicious seafood. I think everybody enjoyed those meals. Thank you for giving us great service.
