Hello. This is Tae Hattori.

I would like to introduce the Pet-bottle-rocket classes held at Yagiyama-Minami primary school on 3rd/Sep and at the Sendai Science Museum on 5th/Sep.
On the both days, it was a very hot weather with the temperature exceeding 30 degrees. Even under such a hot weather, kids were so excited and full of energy. Looking at them, we also could get cheered up and could have a great time with them.
Throughout this event, I strongly felt how difficult it is to teach kids. No complex words, and of course, no technical words. Under such circumstances, it was a big challenge for me to explain to them with using only simple language. I'm not sure if I could explain well or not, but it was certainly a fruitful experience for me where I could learn important things.
Above all, it was the most pleasing thing to see kids looking so happy after flying their rockets. Surely, they could feel the fun of science. It's gonna be wonderful if some of them become scientists in the future, isn't it?
