Hello. This is a 2nd grade PhD internship student, Hattori.

Thank you so much for holding a farewell party for me this time.
I enjoyed so much the Japanese tempura at Kiraku-tei.
Also, thank you so much for a nice farewell present 'Hagimaru' for me. I enjoyed it so much with my friends. Alice also loved this Japanese sake made by the faculty of Agriculture at Tohoku University, and she was saying ''the best Japanese sake ever!

Though it was only a three-month stay, I could spend a greatly fulfilling time here and could learn heaps of things, including (of course!!) studies, the importance of collaboration and joy of achieving something collaboratively. This is all thanks to you, and I really appreciate the meeting with all of you. For my interferometer experiments, Mr. Shoji, Christa and Mr. Kobari helped me a lot, and Mr. Okajima and Felipe gave me important advice. Thank you so much.

It was so great that I could come and join the Maruyama-Komiya Lab and could meet wonderful people here. I will keep working hard in Sydney, keeping in mind the things I learned here from all of you as well as many great memories of this place. I hope we can meet again in the near future.
