Hello.
This is a PhD internship student, Gonome.

The 8th International Conference on Flow Dynamics (ICFD2011) was held in Sendai, Japan on Nov. 9-11, 2011.

Adil-kun, Sato-kun, and I each had a short oral presentation and poster presentation in Oral Session of conference (The 7th International Students/Young Birds Seminar on Multi-Scale Flow) and Mehdi-san and Yabuki-san had a presentation in General Session.

The conference was a very good experience for all of us. We had interesting discussions about our research with many people. For Sato-kun, it was his first international conference. And, for Adil-kun, it was his first conference.

We could make friendly with many students, for example Sakuma-kun who belongs to Sakurai-lab, Niigata Univ. in this conference. In the Banquet, we enjoyed a lot of foods, Japanese-Sake and the special performance of DATEBUSYOUTAI. At the end of this Banquet, I was introduced as the "Best Award" in the 7th International Students/Young Birds Seminar, surprisingly. It's great honor. Thank you for all Maruyama lab members to give me many advices.
