Hello, this is Deguchi.
I attended the International Conference on Power Engineering 2011 (ICOPE2011) in Denver, Colorado on July 12th-14th.
Participants were Prof. Maruyama and me.
This is my first presentation in international conference. I could have had a good experience.
I enjoyed delicious stake and local beer for dinner at stake house.
At last day, we used a rental car to visit some sightseeing spots. Denver is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Mt. Evans (4350m) about 60 km from city area has paved road to the top of the mountain. Through the kindness of Prof. Maruyama, we went there by a rental car. There were Mountain goats by the side of road. The view from the top of the mountain was great. At the return road, we were caught in the heavy rain. The reason of no rain at the top of the mountain should be due to the Prof. Maruyama's power of sunny-man. I would like to thank Prof. Maruyama for gave me this opportunity.
