What's up guys. I am Master 2nd year student Hou.

On Jan.14th, we had the traditional Donto-Festival in Sendai. This year in addition to pray for healthy and prosperity, many people also came to pray for the revival after 3.11 earthquake. Therefore more people participated in the festival than last year.

Our laboratory, also, because of some subtle reason, had 6 members participated in it and it's 3 times of last year. Especially Prof. Maruyama was the only Professor participant and we went the festival together. Prof. Maruyama said the last time he participated in Donto was 20 years ago and almost of us had just been born that time. At Oosaki-Hachimanngu, we've been waiting for over 2 hours and one of our Institute's students suffered from vomiting but luckily our laboratory members were all ok.

It was so cold that you may think you will die from that but it was really precious experience which you may not have a second time in your life. So next year I wish we have new members and again participate in this interesting festival.
