IHTC15
The 15th International Heat Transfer Conference took place from August 10th to 15th in Kyoto, Japan. This conference covers all fields of heat transfer and it is sometimes referred to as the Olympiad of heat transfer since it is held every four years.
In addition to the professors, students in our lab, Shoji-san, Kobari-san, Okabe-san, Takahashi-san, Kogawa-san and I participated in the conference. Also, Prof. Okajima and I presented our results in this conference. I believe that we leant a lot from a wide variety of presentations in this conference. During the stay in Kyoto, we had an occasion to diner with some alumni of the lab; Sato-san, Usuki-san and Naito-san. We enjoyed exchanging our resent news and talking our histories in the lab.
The professors in our lab were members of the organizers of this conference, and some students helped them prepare the conference programs, proceedings. Finally, I am grateful to all those who worked hard to organize this conference.
