Hello again, this is Tsurimaki.
We attended 51st Japan Heat Transfer Symposium held in Hamamatsu-city, Shizuoka from May 21st ? 23rd. The conference was held at Hamamatsu Congress Center. The participants from our lab were the professors,Dr. Gonome, Syoji-san, Kobari-san, Takahashi-san, Kogaw-san and me.
We presented our recent results and discussed with researchers at the conference. I believe we did well. Especially, Syoji-san won the Good Presentation Award, Prof. Komiya received the Special Award to honor his contributions to the Heat Transfer Society of Japan. In addition, Prof. Maruyama was elected as a vice-president of the society.
By the way, Naito-san, an ex-member of the lab, now lives in Shizuoka. So we ate dinner with him at night. Itfs been a long time since I met him last summer and I think itfs the same for others members. It was nice to meet him and to know about how hi is doing recently.
