The seminar bygThe Heat Transfer Society of Japanhwas held at a hotel,gIkoi no mura Iwatehin Hachimantai, Iwate prefecture from October 3rd to 4th.
Representatives from several manufacturers which were based on Tohoku region came together and
they talked about manufacturing processes of "sake" and "heat sensor" in term of heat transfer engineering in their lectures.
I especially got interested in a lecture given by the CEO of rice wine manufacturer,gWashinoh.
It was informative and I learned from his talk that the method to suppress breeding of koji-mold
which converts starchy of rice into glucose sugar by temperature control.
