| We are planning to make an excursion to the countryside near Fukushima
city, and to stay at "Sansuisou" Inn in famous Tsuchiyu Spa for one
night, holding a typical Japanese-style banquet. We expect all of you to
enjoy a typical Japanese countryside and also Japanese-style outdoor baths.
This is not a just Banquet but a last one of series, which I have being serving you since 1991. In March 11, 2011, we had the terrible disaster in Tohoku area. Especially in Fukushima area, there was the nuclear disaster in addition to the earthquake and the Tsunami. Since then, people in Fukushima Prefecture are still suffering a triple distress. Hence I have decided to visit a Tsuchiyu Spa in the west side of Fukushima Prefecture and to have a last memorial Banquet there. I hope that local people will be encouraged very much if many foreign researchers will visit Fukushima. Let's stand by them. Because your attendance is important, we will try to find some funds to support a half of your excursion fee (12,000 Yen). If your accompanying person wants to join this program, please let us know it earlier and pay 12,000 Yen at the registration desk. |
