Hello.

This is a PhD internship student, Lari.

The Seventh International Conference on Flow Dynamics (ICFD2010) was held in Sendai, Japan on Nov. 1-3, 2010. This conference is held every year. The general chair of conference was Prof. Maruyama.

All Maruyama-Komiya lab students attended the conference. Dr. Mehdi, Okajima-san, Hattori-san and I each had a short oral presentation and poster presentation in OS7 session of conference (The Sixth International Students/Young Birds Seminar on Multi-Scale Flow Dynamics) and Dr. Yabuki had a presentation in General Session on Multi-Scale Flow Dynamics.

The conference was a very good experience for all of us, especially for me, because it was my first foreign conference. We had interesting discussions about our research.

Also, we enjoyed the Banquet with a lot of foods, especially the Halal foods. At the end of this Banquet, Hattori-san was introduced as the "Best Award" in the Sixth International Students/Young Birds Seminar. She was also given the "Outstanding Award" for his poster by the participants of student session. We are proud of her achievements.
