This is Guillaume.

On October 8th, we had the Imoni-kai, I was quite afraid that the bad weather from the past week would go on during this very day but we were really lucky and the sun shone during the whole day.

I really enjoyed the food (it was my second Imoni-kai but this one was way better) particulary the very good beef at the end and the curry-soba ! I'm really impressed by everyone's hardwork for this event, some really had a tight schedule but everyone could meet in the end.

I could also introduce myself in Japanese after Professor Maruyama's speach and meet everyone from my lab. I hope that next year's Imoni party will also be held that well and with such an awesome weather, I'd like to thank everyone for this nice welcoming event and I'am glad to be a member of Professor Maruyama's laboratory.
