propagating flame front

microgravity. Microgravity

is an ideal condition to

measure the flame speed

of spray combustion and

to investigate the mechanism

of the flame propagation. CCD images of propagating

flames for monodispersed

PMMA fine particles. A

spherical flame propagation

of the particle cloud is

observed in microgravity.

 Pulsating flame propagation

has been also found near

the lean flammability limit

of the PMMA-air mixtures
