2. Development of UMI Simulation System |
|
In order to utilize UMI simulation in medical
procedure, we have constructed a prototype system. The ultrasonic imaging
equipment transmits diagnostic images to a calculation server (supercomputer)
via a graphics workstation. In the supercomputer, UMI simulation is performed
comparing measured and computed data, and the computational result is
returned and visualized in the graphics workstation. The prototype system is
investigated to do the sequential process in real time. |
