Flow Characteristics in Capillaries

 
Red blood cells are important for blood flow in microcirculation. Especially in capillaries, diameter is smaller than that of red blood cell. So red blood cells deform in capillaries. In this work, we research friction characteristics of red blood cells by experiment. These characteristics need for researching blood flow in microcirculation.

Fig.1 shows experimental system and Fig.2 is schematic diagram of the experimental system. This system applies centrifugal force.  We can add centrifugal force for red blood cells and observe movement. So we can research friction characteristics of red blood cell
