7月25日に流体科学研究所で、台湾交通大学からOleksandr Voskoboynikov教授、セントラルフロリダ大学から Juin J. Liou 教授、 スタンフォード大学からBlanka Magyari-Kope博士を講師に招き、「半導体ナノ構造及びエネルギーナノデバイスのモデリングとシミュレーション」を テーマに、国際ワークショップを開催しました。
Voskoboynikov教授は“Physics, Modeling and Simulation of the Optical Response of Layers of Semiconductor Nano-Objects”、 Liou教授は"Challenges of Electrostatic Discharge Protection in Si Nanowire Technology"、Magyari-Kope博士は ”Ab initio simulation techniques and applications of density functional theory to study interface and defect induced properties in transition metal oxides and their implications for electronic devices”と題したテーマで、白熱した講義を行っていただきました。
講義後は参加者から多くの質問が出て、講師と活発な意見交換を行いました。
