ELyT School 2023 in Sendai

ELyT School 2023 in Sendai was held at Tohoku University's Aobayama, Kawauchi, and Katahira Campus, from August 31st to September 9th, 2023.
This is the first time in four years since 2019 that ELyT School has been held at full scale, due to the pandemic of COVID-19.
20 students from INSA Lyon and ECL, France came to Japan and took a 10-day program together with 20 students from Tohoku University. In addition to academic programs such as attending lectures in various fields, visiting "NanoTerasu" the next-generation synchrotron radiation facility, lab tours at the Aobayama campus and Katahira campus, and student projects in which Japanese and French students collaborate on research and presentations, they also enjoyed experiential courses of Japanese culture, such as hands-on experiences of a tea ceremony and a study tour to Hiraizumi cultural heritage.
