ICR2023

こんにちは。小宮です。南アの出張（IHTC-17）後、3日を置いてすぐに次の出張です。
8月21日（月）から25日（金）にかけてフランス・パリのParis Congress Centerで開催された「International Congress of Refrigeration (ICR2023)」に学生のMarianneさんと参加し、弾性熱量効果に関する研究成果の発表をしてきました。 フランス側からはINSA LyonのJacques Jay先生も参加し、現地で冷却技術に関して大いに議論を行いました。
8/22には口頭発表を、23日にはポスター発表を行いました。冷凍空調関係の学会で新たな冷却コンセプトを発表したため、多くの参加者から質問があり、建設的な議論をすることができました。Marianneがサンプルとして天然ゴム膜を持ってきており、それを使って弾性熱量効果を説明すると、皆さん結構驚いておりました。
最終日の午後は、帰国のフライトまで時間があったので、今話題沸騰中のエッフェル塔に行ってきました。


Komiya is writing. After my business trip to South Africa (IHTC-17), I left only three days behind and immediately went on my next trip. I participated in the International Congress of Refrigeration (ICR2023) held from 21 to 25 August at the Paris Congress Center in Paris, France, and presented research results on elastic calorimetric effects. Student Marianne also participated. Prof. Jacques Jay of INSA Lyon also participated from the French side and discussed cooling technology at the venue.
We gave an oral presentation on 22 August and a poster presentation on 23 August. Because we presented a new cooling concept, many participants asked questions and we had constructive discussions. Marianne had brought a natural rubber sheet and used it to explain the elastic calorimetric effect, which surprised the participants. In the afternoon of 25 August, I had some time before my flight, so I went to the Eiffel Tower.
