Matsushima is known as one of the three best scenic spots in Japan.
The conference venue is Hotel Taikanso,
the best hotel in the Matsushima area.

On the eve (13th June) between 17:00 - 19:00,
welcome reception will be held at
Institute of Fluid Science (IFS),
Tohoku University, Sendai (not at the conference hotel in Matsushima).
Immediately prior to this, IFS technical tour and demos will be held for
the co-located symposium TFI-2006.
If your travel schedule permits, you are very welcome to join the tour.
After the reception with TFI-2006 participants, the courtesy bus will leave IFS at 19:00, which takes you to the conference hotel within an hour.
