ABOUT US

Next Generation Space Transportation Systems Tanno Laboratory is a new laboratory established in 2016. Our laboratory is conducting basic and applied researches on aerodynamic heating and aerodynamic charasteristics of atmospheric re-entry vehicles by using Japanese largest experimental facilities of the Jaxa Kakuda Space Center. We are also collaborating with overseas space agencies such as NASA and DRL, and universities. Students can gain experience in the frontier of space development.
