Development of Free-flight Measurement Tecnique

Our laboratory has continued developing the free-flight measurement technique which measures datas such as aerodynamic force, pressure, and temperature by using on-board data logger because test duration of our facilities is too short such as several msec. As applied researches of this technologies, we are conducting development of re-entry capsule without parachute (NASA Collaborative Research) and research on dynamic instability of re-entry capsule in transonic flow (DLR Collaborative Research).
