Posters presenting original, unpublished work on any TFI-relevant topics are solicited. Submission of research work in progress or lessons learned in practice is also encouraged.
Abstract
The Microsoft Word template is available from the symposium here. Use A4 (210 mm X 297 mm) size paper, not US-letter. Top margin is 25 mm. Bottom, left and right margins 20mm. The maximum length is 2 pages. All the figures and photographs should be in black and white. One fine color figure is invited for the Color Plates in the Proceedings. Send the abstract by e-mail to tfi06@vis.ifs.tohoku.ac.jp no later than April 30, 2006.
Poster
Use A0 (841 mm X 1189 mm) size paper in a vertically-long manner. Each presenter should put up his/her posters on the board by 10:00 on June 12.
Presentation
Presenter is required to attend poster preview sessions. The symposium language is English. A LCD projector and a monitor cable (D-sub 15 pins) are prepared. Bring your own laptop. If your laptop is Macintosh and the connector for external monitor is not D-sub 15 pins, bring your own adaptor. If you need overhead projector or videocassette player, make contact with the symposium secretariat.
