Professor of Chemical Engineering and Chair of the Clean Energy Research Platform at KAUST. Previously Senior Manager of Technology and Innovation at ENOWA Hydrogen in NEOM and Postdoctoral Researcher in the Combustion Chemistry group at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His research focuses on sustainable energy technologies and chemical kinetic simulations for fuels, electrolyzers, fuel cells, engines, and reactors.

Researcher focused on AI-enabled reaction-mechanism optimization, ammonia-hydrocarbon combustion, and SAF technologies. His background includes liquid-fuel combustion, flameless/MILD combustion, laminar burning velocity measurements, CO₂ capture using MEA, and plastic pyrolysis.
