Solving grand energy challenges
We develop innovative solutions in clean energy, fuels, carbon systems, and sustainable technologies that respond to pressing global needs.
CPC Lab is an international research collective advancing sustainable energy, clean fuels, and circular materials through interdisciplinary science and global collaboration.
CPC stands for Connected by Purpose and Culture. The name captures our joint interests on clean-energy systems, sustainable fuels and chemicals, carbon and circularity, modeling and simulation, and AI-enabled process intelligence.
The laboratory was founded from the broader CPC research culture at KAUST in 2012 and now extends this collaborative philosophy through CPC Lab at Tohoku University Institute of Fluid Science.
We exist to create knowledge, grow people, and drive meaningful change in the world.
We develop innovative solutions in clean energy, fuels, carbon systems, and sustainable technologies that respond to pressing global needs.
We pursue rigorous, world-class research grounded in scientific integrity, collaborative insight, and interdisciplinary curiosity.
CPC Lab is a platform for transformation. Members are encouraged to grow intellectually, emotionally, and professionally.
We foster the growth of individuals. Our culture is defined by the traits we develop in one another.
We encourage bold questions, challenge assumptions, and pursue knowledge with rigor and wonder.
We value those who listen, support peers, uplift others, and build durable relationships across roles, cultures, and disciplines.
Clear communication connects ideas to impact, whether in publishing, presenting, mentoring, or leading.
Setbacks are inevitable. We learn from failure, support one another through challenges, and continue with purpose.
