Public lecture series "A New Future of the Earth with Green Technology" held
The Institute of Fluid Science held the lecture series "A New Future of the Earth with Green Technology" from August 4 to 6.
This lecture series was a version of the graduate school intensive course "Nano Fluid Science Advanced Course" for the general audience. Consortium member companies as well as Ph.D. students in the university participated in the lectures.
Besides consortium members Tohoku University Professors Seiji Samukawa (Institute of Fluid Science [IFS]) and Itaru Honma (Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials) and Associate Professor Tomohiro Kubota (IFS), Kazuhiko Endo of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Professor Takahito Ono (Tohoku University School of Engineering), Associate Professor Takeo Ohno (Advanced Institute for Materials Research [AIMR]), Assistant Professor Akio Higo (AIMR), and Assistant Professor Takeru Okada (IFS) served as lecturers. They gave multifaceted lectures on renewable energy in the future.
The audience listened keenly to the talks about cutting-edge technologies and energy.
