Professors Samukawa visits the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan, and meets with Representative Hsieh (July 28, 2016)
Professor Samukawa visited the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan on the morning of July 28 and asked for Taiwan's cooperation for the upcoming international IEEE Nano 2016 conference to be held in Sendai.
We owe Taiwan an enormous debt of gratitude, as Taiwan is second only to Japan in the number of papers submitted to IEEE Nano. Taiwanese authors authors also make many of the presentations at the conference, and Taiwan's academic community and industry are generous in their contributions to international conferences.
It is safe to say that our cooperation and ties with Taiwan will only become stronger in the years ahead.
