Professor Samukawa, Assistant Professor Noda and Technician Ozaki active at National Chiao Tung University's Samukawa Lab branch! (September, 2016)

In mid-September, Professor Samukawa, Assistant Professor Noda, and technician Ozaki visited the Samukawa Lab branch at National Chiao Tung University, where they also conducted collaborative research.

For Samukawa Lab, activities at the branch at National Chiao Tung University are indispensable for research of state-of-the-art devices and academic-industrial collaboration. At this year's IEDM, three papers co-authored by Samukawa Lab members and researchers at National Chiao Tung University were submitted, and of these entries one was selected for presentation.

Professor Samukawa, Assistant Professor Noda, and technician Ozaki engaged energetically in activities. They met with students in each lab at National Chiao Tung University—the students being the pillars of research—and held meetings with professors of five research labs.

The lab members in the university requested support for actual experiments and equipment maintenance from Assistant Professor Noda and Mr. Ozaki. This partnership will serve as a foundational research collaboration framework for advancing future collaboration between Japan and Taiwan.
