Prof. Samukawa arranges cooperative consultations between Taiwan's National Applied Research Laboratories (NARL) and AIST (June 5, 2017)

The first meeting of collaborative talks in advanced nanodevice research between Taiwan's National Applied Research Laboratories (NARL) and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, which Dr. Samukawa had been planning for a long time, was held on June 5. NARL President Prof. Wang visited AIST Tsukuba that day.

NARL is an organization that oversees several national laboratories, including the National Nano Devices Laboratories, and visited to hold talks on collaboration with AIST on cutting-edge nanodevice research over the next decade. NDL's device development platform is extremely high, and it is already possible to prototype state-of-the-art germanium devices. We will aim for world-leading nanodevices through cooperation between Japanese basic research and state-of-the-art device manufacturing platforms in Taiwan.
