Prof. Takagi made this lecture to talk about his carrer about maintenance in various field.
Even thouth all the participants have got to wear masks due to the widespread of corona virus, the lecture ended in a success.

MESSE NAGOYA 2019 was held on Nov 6-9th in Port Messe Nagoya (Nagoya, Japan).
We participated in MESSE NAGOYA 2019 as Institute of Fluid Science (IFS), Tohoku University / The Consortium for CFRP.
Our newly developed technique called Electromagnetic Pulsed Acoustic Testing (EPAT) was exibited.

Exibition in MESSE NAGOYA 2019
16th International Conference on Flow Dynamics was held on Nov 6-8th in Sendai International Center.
Dr. Sun (PD), Mr. Diao, Mr. Zhou (M2), Mr. Takahashi and Mr. Koshiba (M1) participated in this conference.
Since this was the first international conference for M1 studnets, it would be a good experience and have a lot to learn about.

"Imoni" pot luck party, our annual event in autumn, was held together with Uchimoto lab. and ELyT Max.
We really enjoyed Sendai tase Imoni, Yamagata taste Imoni and saury fish, eventhough the event was postponed by bad weather.
Thanks to great jobs by B4 and M1 students, the event was a success and we really enjoyed the foods and drinks.

ISEM2019 was held in Nanjin, China from Sep. 15th to 18th.
Prof. Takagi, Visiting Prof. Hashimoto, Dr. Sun (PD), Mr. Diao (M2) and Mr. Zhou (M2) participated in the conference form our lab.
Dr. Sun and Mr. Zhou had oral presentation and Mr. Diao presented his research in Poster session.
It was a good chance to discuss about their research with the oher participants.

ENDE2019 was held in Chengdu, China from Sep. 11th to Sep. 14th.
Prof. Takagi, Dr. Kosukegawa, Visiting Prof. Hashimoto, Dr. Sun (PD) and Mr. Zhou (M2) participated in the conference form our lab.
It was a good chance to discuss about their study with experts in the society.
Outside the conference, they had unique experience in Sichan such as visiting Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and watching traditional Sichan dance.

ELyT Summer School 2019 was held in Lyon, France throughout Aug. 25th - Sep. 4th.
Mr. Diao (M2), Mr. Takahashi (M1) and Mr. Koshiba (M1) participated in this event from our lab.
They visited INSA Lyon and ECL as a college tour, which makes them feel different college life. During the program, they took classes related with their majors and also some classes dealing with French language and culture as well.
Outside the class room, they had lab tours and student work shop, which would be a precious experience in the different culture.

The Nuclear Power Fascility Tour in Ōma and Rokkasyo was held throughout
Aug. 7-9th toghether with Uchimoto Lab. and ELyTMAX.
Through the tour, we visited ?ma Nuclear Power Station, Japan Nucelar Fuel Limited (JNFL) and National Instututes of Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology(QST).
This fascility tour was a good opportunity to learn how nuclear power fascility is safely operayed and the study to develop new nuclear fusion reactors.

MSSS 2019 was held at Research Institute of Nuclear Engineering, Fukui University (Tsuruga city, Fukui).
From Takagi Lab. Mr. Zhou (M2) participated in MSSS 2019 together with Mr. Horibe (M1) and Ms. Zhang (M1) in Uchimoto Lab.
Through the lectures on mainenance about Nuclear power industry and the visit to the Nuclear power plants.
Also, it would be a great experience to have worked with students from China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan through the group work.

We exibited posters, experimental device and material.
Throughout the 2days, there were 119 people visited our booth.
