Students from Tohoku University STEM Summer Program visited IFS. (2025/7/2)

On July 2nd, 30 students from the Tohoku University STEM Summer Program (undergraduate students from the University of Washington and other universities) visited the Institute of Fluid Science. 

Tohoku University organized this program as a short-term internship program for international students studying science and engineering. The students first attended a lecture on the fundamentals of aircraft design by Associate Professor Abe, followed by a visit to the 3D visualization facility of Realization Workspace by Professor Kikugawa and Technical Services staffs. The wind tunnel facility was then introduced by Senior Fellow Konishi and Technical Services staffs. 

Throughout the visit, students asked many questions, demonstrating their strong interest in the subject.
