On Friday, November 14, 2025, a workshop was held in the Large Lecture Room on the 5th floor of Building 2 at the Institute of Fluid Science, bringing together research centers from various countries with strong ties to the Institute. Presentations were given by six centers: the University of Lyon Consortium, INSA-Rouen, KAUST, the University of Washington, HYCOMS, and the Institute of Fluid Science. While the workshop focused on core-to-core topics, presentations covered a broad range of decarbonized energy research from each center, extending beyond fuel ammonia. Additionally, joint research projects between each center and the Institute of Fluid Science, along with the history of their collaboration, were presented, leading to lively discussions.
Following the workshop, a lunch time was held where researchers from each center freely discussed topics over lunch. This workshop proved to be a successful event, with the Institute of Fluid Science serving as a hub to connect the various centers.
