Institution Logo

This logo consists of the “IFS,” the abbreviation for Institute of Fluid Science, designed in blue (deep blue), the symbolic color of the institute, and a vortex design surrounding them. The vortex design is colored in light blue and green, which are the colors of fluid, to express the “science of flow dynamics”.

It was created based on a draft by student belonging to the institute and was established in 2003.

When other institutions/organizations use the logo, an application may be required.

＜Official Character of the Institute of Fluid Science “Ryutan”＞

“Ryutan” is a child of a dragon. When he fell to the ground and was lost, he was protected and cared for by the Institute of Fluid Science.
