Professor Toshiyuki Takagi (Emeritus Professor, former Professor at the System Energy Maintenance Laboratory of the Institute of Fluid Science, currently Vice Director of the Tohoku Forum for Creativity (TFC)) received the title of Doctor Honoris Causa for his contributions to the scientific community regarding non-destructive testing and evaluation using electromagnetic phenomena, as well as for his dedication to building partnerships between Tohoku University and Lyon.
The ceremony was held in the ELyT Workshop 2022 (Lyon, France) on Nov. 16, 2022.
