Professor Jean-Yves Cavaille, Professor Emeritus at INSA Lyon and Visiting Professor at Institute of Fluid Science, Lyon Center, received the Foreign Minister’s Commendation for FY2023 in achievement of promotion of scientific and technological cooperation between Japan and France.　Institute of Fluid Science held a celebration party to congratulate him on his achievement. Many people not only from IFS but also from other departments, who have had close friendships with Professor Cavaille for many years, gathered to the party and celebrated him in a very warm atmosphere.
