LIU SIWEI 助教（生体ナノ反応流研究分野）が、2024年3月2日～7日に名古屋にて現地開催された「16th International Symposium on Advanced Plasma Science and its Applications of Nitrides and Nanomaterials (ISPlasma2024)」において発表を行い、「Best Oral Presentation Award」を受賞しました。

同賞は、優れた発表を行った研究者に対して授与されるものです。

題目：Plasma Discharge Inside a Laser-Induced Cavitation Bubble

研究内容：During the last decades, pioneering research has been carried out to explore how the bubble dynamics can be regulated to select the on-demand products by cavitation. In this study, we experimentally explored altering bubble dynamics by plasma discharge inside a laser-induced cavitation bubble. Our results uncover a strong influence on plasma discharge. For instance, we have found that while the primary bubble remains identical, the size of the rebound bubble almost doubles when a discharge is applied.
